1. Scope

These Terms apply to all purchases and bookings made via this website.

2. Products and Services

We offer:

  • Handmade woodturned products
  • Print-on-demand merchandise (customizable items)
  • Woodturning lessons and workshops

3. Prices

  • All prices are in set in Danish Krone (.dkk) converted to Euro (€) for your convenience
  • Prices include 25% Danish VAT (if applicable)
  • Shipping costs are shown at checkout

4. Orders

  • Orders are binding once confirmed and paid
  • We reserve the right to refuse orders in case of suspected fraud or errors
  • We reserve the right to cancel orders in case of technical issues, regarding, for example foreign laws of availability of shipping methods

5. Payments

Payments are processed securely via:

  • WooPayments (Stripe, Google Wallet, Apple Pay)
  • PayPal

We do not store payment information.

6. Shipping

  • Orders regarding goods made in the shop are shipped within the EU, Norway, and Switzerland
  • Orders regarding goodies are shipped by our partner Printful and will match their shipping policies
  • Delivery times are estimates
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers

7. Right of Withdrawal

Under the Danish Consumer Contracts Act:

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day you receive the goods.

Exceptions (IMPORTANT)

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Goods made to the consumer’s specifications
  • Clearly personalized items (e.g. print-on-demand products with chosen size/color combinations)

8. Returns and Refunds

  • Items must be returned in original condition
  • Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless otherwise agreed
  • Refunds are issued within 14 days after receiving the returned goods or proof of return
  • Standard delivery costs will be refunded

9. Complaints (Reklamationsret)

Under the Danish Sale of Goods Act:

You have a 24-month right to make a complaint for defective products.

If your complaint is justified, you may be entitled to:

  • Repair
  • Replacement
  • Refund or price reduction

10. Booking and Cancellation (Lessons)

  • Lessons must be booked and paid in advance
  • Cancellation is free up to 48 hours before the lesson
  • Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged in full

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule lessons if necessary.

11. Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses
  • Misuse of products
  • Injuries during lessons unless caused by negligence

13. Intellectual Property

All content (images, videos, designs) is the property of BW Wood.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Danish law.

Disputes shall be resolved by Danish courts.
